Weight Calculations
At Bad River Butchers, all prices are established based on "hanging weight." This term refers to the weight of an animal after slaughter, bleeding, and removal of the head, hide, feet, and entrails, but before final butchering. Should you have any questions regarding our pricing or the hanging weight process, please feel free to contact us.
Pick Up Fees (Out of Town)
All pick-up requests located outside of town are subjected to a flat rate service fee ($150 for under 50 miles; $300 for over 50 miles) in addition to a $0.72 per mile travel charge. If our team is required to perform work with the animal on-site, a labor fee of $35/hour will be added to the final invoice. Fees are calculated from our facility.

Due to the nature of our business, we do not offer delivery services. If wish to arrange for a team member to transport your processed packaged meat to your location, please contact us directly at 605-859-2532.
